Port Misery Distillery Shochu β 0.1
The first of our grain distillates to be released under our Port Misery label. Inspired by the southern Okinawan styles of shochu (Awamori), this double distilled barley shochu was produced using a black koji typical of the Awamoir style but with european beer fermentative yeast strains. It was then rested for six months in old whisky barrels for mellowing and depth before cutting and filtering.
